Dear Nominees

Disclaimer: I don't want to be politically correct, these are just my views and may not go down well with everyone. You should have your opinions that is important for democracy.

The mud slinging (read as election) season is here, so I would like to write about that.
Every time the elections are near, we suddenly start hearing more about how muslims have been wronged by hindus and vice versa. I still don't understand the people who keep saying this are idiots or what? If there are riots in an area, people from both side die. That is common sense. But then again, common sense is not so common. I guess more so for the indian politicians. Blaming each other is the only thing they are fit for. Also, I believe in secularism but not appeasement.

Another common jibe that comes from every politician is that the other party has done nothing, we will do this. Some months back there was a ray of hope of a different kind of politics from AAP, but now they're no less politicos. I have my own reasons to say this while AAP supporters will think otherwise. My views are based on the reason that I think he still needs a lot of time to actually be able to govern people. Before he came to power I was pretty sure that he would do something about corruption, maybe he did. I don't think it will be fair to judge him from 49 days of tenure wether good or bad.  I lost interest in him when he made the govt with congress support, that too after swearing upon his children? I find it pathetic to be honest, how can people trust on his credibility is the question I want to ask everyone who wears the AAP cap.

Moving on to my dear Rahul Gandhi and Mrs Sonia Gandhi, the latest from Mrs Sonia gandhi is the video where she says that BJP will rob India of bhartiyata. My first question to her is What is bhartiyata? That too by someone who speaks in italian accent English in the same video throughout. Pardon me ma'am but you need to first learn how to say bharatiyata like a bharatiya! Just FYI I have been a Bharatiya/ Hindustani the whole of my life.

After she explains it to me, I would like to see a proof that she is an Indian citizen by law. There have been a lot of claims from Mr Swamy that she is not. I wouldn't want to believe him unless she can prove otherwise. The same for her son who thinks Gujarat's development is a toffee model. I believe in Gujarat's development because I have seen it with my own eyes. I don't think they can show any papers other than the green ones with Gandhi's photo.

In this election campaign the congress has come out to be a seriously confused lot. With Priyanka Gandhi Vadra saying Mr Manmohan Singh is the super PM in congress. What is Rahul Gandhi then? And may god save us if he comes to power as the PM!
The worst thing in this mud slinging is insulting Mr Vajpayee, who is the tallest PM India has ever seen (apparently this was there on congress website). Yes his tenure saw Kargil but he fought and got it back, not like Manmohan Singh who had to run to USA after the beheading of Indian soldiers!  That is bhartiyata for you Mrs Sonia Gandhi! He was the one who did nuclear tests even after the world threatened to impose sanctions on us. That is hindustaniyat for you Mrs Sonia Gandhi. He was the first leader who spoke in Hindi in the UN general assembly. That is a super PM for you Mrs Priyanka Gandhi vadra.
Coming down to Mr Modi, the bottomline is, I support him. People may say that he is not secular, I believe talking 125 crore Indians includes Muslims as well. People may say that he makes false claims of development, I have seen the development myself so let it be.
Also at the same time, I don't believe that he is a magician who will come to power and with the magic wand transform India. In the end it is WE, the people of India who have to transform the country. Without which the anthem of our politicians will always be
" Apna kaam banta bhaad main jaye janta...
Goonge beheron ki nagri kaun kisi ki sunta..."

Whats going on?

Everyday when I read the newspaper, there are new incidences of Rapes and Scams. Latest fad is the Rupee touching historic lows against dollar by the hour. We are making history by the Hour fellow Indians!

I am not an avid reader, but I read an article couple weeks back by Chetan Bhagat, where he talks about how we Indians argue on moral grounds and not factual grounds. People looking for moral arguments in this post may please stop here.

The article was regarding Food security bill (FSB). He says if you disagree with FSB, people will ridicule you because you are against poor people getting food. Shockingly, people like Amartya Sen, also feel so. They won’t talk about various problems in implementing the bill OR for that matter, how much jobs the same money could create, which in turn will feed the poor. While I agree with Chetan completely, I can’t help but remember a very famous proverb

`Give a man fish and you feed him for a day
Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime`

All the congress wants is to create a generation which is dependent on the govt. for food. First, they paralyzed the economy, now they want to paralyze the whole nation.

I am in favor of helping the poor, but against our governments’ methods. The FSB will cost an estimated 1.25 Lac crore in the next 3-4 years. Who will pay for this? Ofcourse, we the taxpayers! Just like we paid for the Bofors, Common wealth games, VVIP choppers, etc. but, that is not the point. Even after paying, what is the guarantee that the poor will get food. Also, if they don’t have to work for their food, what will they be doing in their free time? They won’t have a job, that’s for sure, because off late we have been pro-corruption and pro-vote bank politics, who ever talked about creating jobs? I am surprised to hear Mr Chidambram telling the parliament that FSB will not increase the current account deficit which, unlike the rupee is at an all time high. Again, just like all the congress leaders, he doesn’t tell how or why. As a layman, I fail to understand how the govt. will spend 1.25 lac crore (No ROI for sure) and not increase the CAD.

The discussion in parliament is not about the methods of delivering this food, or how the corruption loopholes will be closed, but who will take the credit for the bill. The very next day, rupee falls to another all time low of 66 (Correction, between writing this and proof reading rupee has breached 68, Oh by the way Happy Janamashtami fellow Indians). Nothing’s surprising about that. Instead of owning up the mistakes, the FM says that the currency is undervalued. Yeah, blame everybody but the sheer vacuum that you have created where you keep sucking growth from whatever sector has it. Be it Land, Water or Air. They don’t care. Its election time! Procure the vote bank, who gives a rat’s ass about the general public as long as they are paying for the fraudulent LTC expenses of the MPs.

The only thing that has shown some character in a country failing at most indicators is the judiciary, well it has its shortcomings, but at least the intent is there. The latest good news was the July 2013 order of the apex court to bar any convict from contesting elections. It was a way to clean the law making machinery. Seems legit? Well, not in the eyes of our Law minister, Mr Sibal. Rajya sabha has passed a bill, which will negate this judgment of the apex court. In his statement in Rajya Sabha Mr Sibal goes on to blame the judiciary for making erroneous decisions. Sheer shamelessness is what I can say to you Mr Law Minister. I wish you could say this to MLAs who travel on inflated airline tickets. I wish judiciary had the power to make laws and not these educated illiterates sitting in the parliament. Nevertheless, the law will come into effect and we would continue to be ruled by Immoral people trying to teach a lesson of Morality to us. Is there a bigger irony?

The only thing that the congress is serious about is secularism, though the definition of secularism may not be known to them. If someone says growth for all, he is communal. If you are so much concerned about the minorities, in the past 55 years of rule show how your policies have improved the living conditions of the minorities. They can’t do that because it will blow up in their face. The only thing that this has lead to is a feeling in the country that we are a Punjabi, Tamil, Hindu, Muslim or whatever caste/creed/religion/region first and an Indian later. The British divided us then, Congress is carrying on the legacy.

The sentiment throughout the country is low to say the least, the jobs are not being created, there is no infrastructure growth, MNCs openly say India is the worst country to do business, industrial growth goes down month on month, only thing growing is the number of scams, the inflation, the prices, the CAD and not to mention the crime. I wish the elections are held soon for this trend to change.

The country we call India

Heartiest congratulations to Mr Rahul Gandhi on being elevated to the party VP. Well, not that it’s a surprise! In my view, god forbid, he won the 2014 election; he would just be another mute spectator while the country goes further down just like our present PM.

He is being projected as the face of the congress in the upcoming elections. He aspires to be the PM of our country, do we even know his credentials other than the fact that he is the natural heir of the congress party which strongly believes in dynasty politics and not merit politics.

In his first speech after taking up the new role, he talks about the people of our country being angry with the political class and that the corruption needs to be weeded out from the system and a few things more which sounded like an echo of mother Sonia's speeches in some places. Even though the things he has talked about are nothing new than what all the parties do before elections, just like all the others he doesn’t give out any kind of a concrete plan of how. Nobody in the congress has the guts to talk about the black money that has been stashed outside the country.

Let’s talk about the crown prince before we take to sarcasm. In the Wikipedia page dedicated to him there are references to him attending Harvard and that he had to be shifted and his name had to be changed due to the fear of sikh extremists. Well I understand the concern of life. My question to the Gandhi parivar is:

Was Priyanka given the same treatment? Doesn't show on the internet. So shall I believe the (in)equality of women starts at home? Is it Ms Sonia Gandhi? While Dr Swamy who is after the Gandhi clan (Rightly so) tells various reasons for Rahul going from one school to another, I wouldn't like to take them up. I want to take this article from my understanding and point of view.

Hence, bottom-line is that his educational credentials are tainted and he is the one talking about knowledge and its importance. Its not his fault, we always cherish what we don’t have.

The congress is talking about him as the PM candidate, what do we know about him? Nothing, other than the fact that he is the son of Mr Rajiv Gandhi. All his speeches seem so delirious to say the least. He talks about a lot but his actions seem to betray him. He says he understands the needs of the youth. Do you now? Where were you when the youth was following the path of non violence (Which also got a mention in the chintan shiver speech) to prove their point and were beaten like stray dogs? Mr Fredrich Nietsche once wrote " The thought is one thing, the deed another, and the idea of the deed yet another" seems apt here.

Mr Aiyar, just like various people of congress, in their bid to butter the VP has gone all out and compared Rahul with Obama, now I dont know whether to laugh on his stupidity or to cry for the poor state of our leaders. Did Mr Aiyar know that Obama debated for winning the Presidency and that he had a series of actions to show that he is capable, can our Mr Gandhi talk about any of his accomplishments which are real and not just a fragment of his thoughts? Talk about accomplishments, can he even prove through strong documentation that he is an Indian citizen? Even after a lot of incitement from Dr Swamy the mother and son duo could not produce a single document which shows that they are legitimate Indian citizens.

Let’s talk about his competition. Mr Modi, I think the history of winning the Gujarat elections one after another, the fact that Gujarat shines brighter on the world map than India is all that we need to say about him. When this is not enough, his dedicatedness to his work and his clean image after the 2002 debacle (I take it as a debacle even though nobody has ever been able to prove his fault) makes him way ahead of Mr Gandhi even before the start.

In his recent speech Mr Gandhi himself said that he is not sure how Congress wins the elections, well I am perplexed too. Maybe its the " Baant k khao" approach that works with your allies.

Mr Shinde and Rahul share the same approach against the competition i.e BJP and RSS that they are like hindu terrorist groups. Well this shows the understanding of Congress about terrorism. They still don’t understand that terrorism does not have any religion, all they are trying to say with this statement is that they still believe terrorism stems from religion. Please correct me if I am wrong. However if you think they are helping terrorism in any way, bring them to book. You are the Home minister of this country. If you cant bring terrorists to book, you are not doing your job well. As if this isn’t enough, Mr Gandhi in his speech after the Mumbai terrorist attacks had said that " It is not possible to stop all the terrorist attacks" well here is the future aspiring PM of our country who already has bowed down to terrorism instead of blaming the right people. I would really want to ask him what about the recent face off with Pakistan, should we still keep talking to Pakistan for peace as is the consensus within the congress? Or shall we go running to US for complaining against Pakistan? Or better yet, in the words of Mr Modi, keep writing them Love letters and wait for another betrayal? When did the congress stop producing leaders with Spines?

Mr Chidambram has recently told us that India would realize its true potential next year with 5-6 % economic growth. With all due respects, is this your true potential or the potential of the country which showed economic growth of 8% when the world was under one of the worst recessions. Should a middle-class Indian be happy about such a low growth rate? Not only has the growth slowed down, there is huge fiscal deficit staring us in the face, or for that matter the skyrocketing inflation. Who shall bear the brunt of the poor governance? We, the people of India.

Sometimes I sit and think that will these politicians ever stop their petty blame games and think about the country for once? Ms Sonia Gandhi has rightly said that corrupition in politics needs to be weeded out. Well will she lead by example and bring all the black money from outside back to India? Not in a million years I am sure.

Still the country reels under various threats, not only economic but on the borders as well, and none of leaders are strong enough to give answers when they are necessary. There are no answers only open ended questions everyone wants to ask the ruling party.

Zehen ka dard

Hai khushiyon ka aalam
Aur ye dil udaas hai
Saj rahi hain mehfilain
Tanhaai ki mujhe aas hai
Prachhai to kahin peeche chod aya
Zehen ka dard sath hai

Na khushi se kabhi dosti hui
Na dukh se meri dushmani rahi
Ye daastan koi samajh na paya
Kuchh Aisi Meri jeevani hui
Chehre ki khushi pe sab hanse
Aankhon ki kahani padh na sake
Apni hansi to kahi peeche chod aya
Zehen ka dard sath hai

Na kisi khushi ki ab aas hai
Na kisi k sath ki mujhe chah hai
Baant kar apne hisse ki khushi
Le kar uske hisse ka gham
Chal pada hun tanhaai ko le kar sang
Dostiyan to kahin peechhe chod aya
Zehen ka dard sath hai

Akela chala tha akela hi chalunga
Tere sath guzara waqt bhula na sakunga
Chal pada hun main
Dhundhali kahin meri manzil hai
Pahunchunga kabhi raah bhale hi kathin hai
Yadain to peechhe chod aya
Zehen ka dard sath hai

Kash....

Kash k mera dil badal hota
Tere nishanon se bojhal na hota
Kash k tera dil ret hota
Kuch der to meri shakhsiyat se parichit hota....

Na tera dil ret na mera dil badal
Hum dono jaise kal kal karta sagar
Tujhse milna tha shayad mukaddar
Tujhe bhula pana ab mera jeevan

Hamare bharat ka sainya bal

Hamare bharat ka sainya bal
Bharatiyon ki raksha karta har pal
Chahe ho kasmir ki sardi
Ya fir bikaner ki garmi
Jhukne na dete bharat ka sar
Hamare bharat ka sainya bal

Har roz sainik khatron se ladte
Kabhi nahin shatru se darte
Jal, thal, vayu pe raj hain karte
Fir bhi sada vinamra hain rehte
Seema pe chokanna har pal
Hanare bharat ka sainya bal

Sainik hain bharat ki aan
Hamare liye de dete jaan
Jab jab gana jeet ka gaan
Rakhna yaad sainik ka balidan
Jisne apna khoon bahaya
Jeet ka jashan dekh na paya
Prarthana main sada rakhna yaad
Meri sabse yehi fariyad

Jhukne na dete bharat ka sar
Hamare bharat ka sainya bal...!!!

Hum hindustani

So, the comments of people in public lights has fallen to an all time low. Now I don't have any questions as to why our country is not going anywhere forward.

Mr Asaram "not fit to be anybody's" bapu did you think for a split second that, what you said is exactly what the youth is fighting against? Why should a girl have to plead with the rapists? Wake up good morning!! God forbid if tomorrow someone from your family goes through all this I would really want you to repeat these lines to them and make an example. This just in.. He has taken back his comments, saying they were out of context. Now I get it, its not his fault, in this age people are unable to control shit coming out. Whatever end it may be.

A little fun time, a BJP leader from chhattisgarh has put the blame on planetary and stellar positions. Sir " videshi takaton ka hath" which is the favourite of our politicians could have been better explanation to bring you in the publicity.

Another one on the list of people with the deadly Foot-in-mouth disease is Mr Bhagwat according to whom the rapes only happen in cities and not villages. So instead of making the cities safer you want to turn the whole india into a village? I applaud your leadership sir. I hope you remember that India is trying to move forward and not backwards.

While we are on the page of moving forward Jamaat-E-islaami Hind says that co-education should be banned, women should study in all girls school, live- in relation should be termed illegal and some more crap. I think they forgot they were talking to Indian media and not talibani media. Just FYI India got Independence in 1947. The constitution of India came into effect in 1952 and since then Indian citizens have been granted certain fundamental rights. As an informed citizen of this country, let me clarify to you that, while there is a right to freedom of speech, there is no right to freedom of talking crap/bullshit. Is there?

Delhi police was again in highlights for the usual inaction that it is famous for. Once again they did in- action diligently. A round of applause.
Only when they came under media fire for not taking action against an autowallah, they were able to arrest him and then instead of answering why there was late action from them or why the women helplines didnt help, they shift the blame to the lady who filed the complaint saying that the autowallah has given different statement.
Hmmm... I guess Delhi police expected that the autowallah will come in the police station lock himself in the cell and say please produce me in court. Mr Neeraj Kumar sir, any comments? We can see you are not quitting making lives of the women in delhi miserable to say the least.

All in all everybody is still, in some way or the other trying to blame girls for rapes. Nobody has tried to talk about the actual problem. MEN. Poor women, either they are killed before entering the world or they come to the world and never see a single ray of justice. I ask all the people above should I put the blame of this on the girls too?

Its not only the rape. Another problem has recently arisen, with our beloved neighbour (hints: famous for betrayal, thrice a loser of war) killing two Indian soldiers. Mr Manmohan Singh was quick in saying that " please maintain the sanctity of LOC" Mr Singh if they were able to understand your language they would have done so in April 2012 when Mr Zardari visited India with his friendly face.( He had left his actual face back in Pakistan.) I remember one interview of Mr Narendra "Strong spine" Modi where he says " Pakistan ko love letters likhne band kar dene chahiye. Unhe jo bhasha samajh ati hai usi bhasha main samjhana chahiye" a penny for telling which language have we taught them in 1965, 1971, 1999.

People, we are all indians, this country belongs to each one of us equally. How long will we keep fighting over religions/ caste/ creed/ sex? If there is anybody who has more right on the country, its our soldiers who stand day and night, to safeguard us from outside powers.
If Owaisi (or anybody else for that matter) thinks he can kill all the hindus (or any other race) and that the country belongs to him, lets see him fight a few pakistanis on the border for a day or two.
He (Mr Owaisi) got so scared of a court notice that he had to be taken to hospital, what will happen if he is asked to go fight on the border is a child's guess. Does he even have the balls to enter Kashmir? He couldn't step out of his own home without a few chamchas.
On top of all this, he challenges Modi. Dude, if Modi comes in the central govt ( which I really want to see), he Will give it to people like you left/right and centre. I am not sure if someone will come forward to save you then.

My belief still is " hindu muslim sikh isaayi aapas main sab bhai bhai" and only if all of us start thinking like this can we move forward.

Peace
